At Redemption International School\, we recognize the significant role that families and educators play in shaping the lives of young learners\, and we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can grow\, learn\, and thrive. \nSince 1st June falls on a Sunday\, we will be celebrating on Monday\, 2nd June 2025\, with a full day of fun\, creativity\, and adventure for our wonderful students! \n🎉 What’s in Store for the Day? \nWe have curated a series of joyful and engaging activities aimed at celebrating childhood while promoting teamwork\, imagination\, and learning: \n\n🗺️ Treasure Hunt Adventure – A fun-filled scavenger hunt around the school grounds!\n🏃 Outdoor Fun & Games – Sack races\, obstacle courses\, holler hoops\, hide and seek\, logic games\, and more.\n🎨 Card Creation Station – Children will make colorful cards to express gratitude\, dreams\, or friendship.\n✍️ Letter Writing – A chance for children to write heartfelt letters appreciating their guardians.\n🗣️ Special Talk Sessions – Engaging talks on children’s rights\, body hygiene\, and respecting one’s body.\n🎬 Movie Screening – Relax and enjoy a child-friendly film together.\n🍗 Evening Barbecue – A delightful gathering to crown the day at 7:00 PM.\n\n🕑 Afternoon Session for Parents \nParents and guardians are expected at school from 2:00 PM to participate in our afternoon session\, which includes interactive activities\, school updates\, and time to connect with staff and fellow families. Your presence will mean a lot to the children! \n🧺 What to Send With Your Child \nTo help make this day memorable\, please send your child with the following: \n\nA fancy hat (girls) or cap (boys)\, if available\nPlastic water bottles\, bottle tops\, tins\, and disposable paper or plastic cups\nComfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor play (plus a change of clothes)\n1–2 small items (e.g.\, stickers\, wrapped candy\, small toys) for treasure hunt prizes\nGlitter\, markers\, or stickers for card-making (school will provide additional art supplies)\nBright or festive attire to help make the celebration feel even more special!\n\n📸 Capturing the Moments \nWe will be documenting the day with photos to be shared privately with families and on the school’s official social media platforms. DESCRIPTION: A Colorful Celebration of Gifts\, Cultures\, and Joy | 28th March 2025 \nOn 28th March 2025\, the grounds of Redemption International School came alive with music\, laughter\, colors\, and applause as students took to the stage for the much-anticipated Talent Production Day. It was a spectacular day where learners of all ages showcased their incredible talents\, creativity\, and confidence—a true celebration of the uniqueness within every child. \nA Stage for Every Star\nFrom the youngest to the oldest\, every student had a moment to shine. The event featured a wide range of exciting performances\, leaving parents and teachers in awe of what our learners can do. \nHighlights of the Day Included: \n🎤 Singing Performances – Students performed both solo and group songs\, blending modern tunes\, cultural melodies\, and spiritual anthems that moved the audience and filled the air with joy. \n  \n💃 Dancing Showcases – From traditional African dances to contemporary choreography\, the dance acts brought energy and vibrance to the stage. Each routine reflected the cultural richness and creative expression that our students have been nurturing. \n🗣️ Multilingual Dialogues – A special feature of the day was the impressive multi-language presentations. Students demonstrated their skills in French\, German\, Kiswahili\, Spanish\, and English—a proud reflection of Redemption’s commitment to multilingual education. Parents were delighted to see how confident and fluent their children had become. \n  \n🎭 Early Years Costume Parade & Item Identification – Our little stars from the early years stole the show with their adorable dress-up contest. From tiny chefs to doctors\, farmers to firefighters\, they confidently walked the stage and even identified their items and roles—a heartwarming moment that had the whole audience cheering with joy. \n🎨 Other Creative Acts – The program also included skits\, spoken word\, fashion walks\, and short drama pieces—all showcasing not only talent but values of teamwork\, confidence\, and cultural appreciation. \nA Joyful Experience for All\nThe atmosphere throughout the day was electrifying and heartwarming. Parents came in large numbers and were treated to a colorful display of talent and hard work. They cheered\, clapped\, laughed\, and even danced along with their children\, making it a memorable bonding moment for families. \nThe school grounds were beautifully decorated\, the sound of music filled every corner\, and the spirit of celebration echoed through the halls. Smiles lit up every face—students proud of their performance\, teachers proud of their learners\, and parents proud of their children. \nMore Than Just a Show\nTalent Production Day is more than just a fun school event—it reflects Redemption International Christian School’s mission to nurture the whole child. DESCRIPTION:— A Day of Love\, Learning\, and Lasting Impact | 01-11-2024 \nOn the 1st of November 2024\, the students and staff of Redemption International School embarked on a heartwarming visit to Hope Shine Uganda—a life-changing organization that nurtures and empowers young mothers by equipping them with practical leatherwork skills to help them earn a sustainable living. \nHope Shine Uganda serves as a beacon of hope for young women\, many of whom have faced challenging circumstances early in life. Through training in leather craft—such as making elegant handbags\, wallets\, belts\, and sandals—the organization empowers these mothers with skills that restore dignity and open up doors of opportunity. \nA Heartfelt Welcome\nAs our delegation arrived\, we were welcomed with radiant smiles\, songs\, and an overwhelming sense of warmth and unity. The young mothers and Hope Shine staff created a cheerful\, welcoming atmosphere that made our students feel instantly connected. \nA Day of Sharing: Gifts\, Food\, and Love\nOur visit wasn’t just about observing; it was about connecting and sharing. The students of Redemption International Christian School came prepared—not only with curiosity and open hearts but with thoughtful gifts\, delicious food\, and above all\, genuine love. \nCarefully packed food hampers\, hygiene items\, baby supplies\, and heartfelt handmade gifts were distributed to the young mothers. There were emotional moments of gratitude\, laughter\, and even tears\, as the mothers expressed how much the visit meant to them. Our students also shared words of encouragement and prayed with the mothers\, offering both spiritual and emotional support. \n    \nHands-On Learning\nDuring the tour of the workshop\, our students witnessed firsthand the incredible craftsmanship of the young mothers. They learned about the full process of leather crafting—from design to the final product—and even participated in hands-on sessions where they tried stitching and decorating small leather items under the guidance of the Hope Shine team. \nThis practical experience gave our students a deeper appreciation for the value of vocational skills and hard work. It was a reminder that education is not just about books\, but also about learning real-life skills\, empathy\, and community service. \nBuilding Bridges and Purpose\nThe visit ended with joyful interactions\, storytelling\, a shared meal\, and group prayers. It was a time of unity\, hope\, and shared purpose. Students returned home enriched\, inspired\, and more determined to make a positive impact in their communities. \n    \nA Message for the Future\nThis memorable visit on 01-11-2024 was a beautiful reflection of Redemption International Christian School’s core values—compassion\, service\, creativity\, and wholeness.
