International Children’s Day Celebration – Monday, 2nd June 2025
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are delighted to announce that 1st June marks International Children’s Day—a globally celebrated occasion dedicated to honoring the rights, well-being, and happiness of children. At Redemption International School, we recognize the significant role that families and educators play in shaping the lives of young learners, and we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
Since 1st June falls on a Sunday, we will be celebrating on Monday, 2nd June 2025, with a full day of fun, creativity, and adventure for our wonderful students!
🎉 What’s in Store for the Day?
We have curated a series of joyful and engaging activities aimed at celebrating childhood while promoting teamwork, imagination, and learning:
- 🗺️ Treasure Hunt Adventure – A fun-filled scavenger hunt around the school grounds!
- 🏃 Outdoor Fun & Games – Sack races, obstacle courses, holler hoops, hide and seek, logic games, and more.
- 🎨 Card Creation Station – Children will make colorful cards to express gratitude, dreams, or friendship.
- ✍️ Letter Writing – A chance for children to write heartfelt letters appreciating their guardians.
- 🗣️ Special Talk Sessions – Engaging talks on children’s rights, body hygiene, and respecting one’s body.
- 🎬 Movie Screening – Relax and enjoy a child-friendly film together.
- 🍗 Evening Barbecue – A delightful gathering to crown the day at 7:00 PM.
🕑 Afternoon Session for Parents
Parents and guardians are expected at school from 2:00 PM to participate in our afternoon session, which includes interactive activities, school updates, and time to connect with staff and fellow families. Your presence will mean a lot to the children!
🧺 What to Send With Your Child
To help make this day memorable, please send your child with the following:
- A fancy hat (girls) or cap (boys), if available
- Plastic water bottles, bottle tops, tins, and disposable paper or plastic cups
- Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor play (plus a change of clothes)
- 1–2 small items (e.g., stickers, wrapped candy, small toys) for treasure hunt prizes
- Glitter, markers, or stickers for card-making (school will provide additional art supplies)
- Bright or festive attire to help make the celebration feel even more special!

We will be documenting the day with photos to be shared privately with families and on the school’s official social media platforms. These memories will be a wonderful keepsake of the joy and laughter shared.
