The ABC’s / Grade One program at Redemption International Christian School (RICS) is designed to help young learners transition from early childhood education to structured academic learning. This program builds on the foundational skills acquired in Pre-School (Grade R) and introduces reading, writing, mathematics, and independent learning skills in a fun and engaging way.

At this stage, children learn to read phonetically, write letters and words, and begin solving simple math problems. The curriculum is structured to encourage a love for learning while developing confidence, independence, and discipline.
